fideAS® File Enterprise


fideAS® File Enterprise is a scalable file and folder encryption system that can be used by any company or organization to protect data from unauthorized access or use.

The solution enables you to provide several users and work groups with secure access to confidential data. The encryption process itself is completely transparent to the user, i.e. invisible, and does not interfere with the normal workflow to which your employees are accustomed.

How?

All access to data is authorized at predetermined levels by the security administrator, and access is either permitted or denied based on those parameters. Role separation between the system and the security administrator ensures that even the system administrators cannot access confidential files, which they are not entitled to see.

Additionally, fideAS® File Enterprise allows your organization to prevent data loss that is stored on removable media such as USB drives. This helps prevent physical data loss, and also provides opportunity for you to protect your system from certain viruses and other malware. fideAS® File Enterprise offers other features including a four-eyes-principle, automatic encryption of email attachments, Information Leakage Prevention and revision-safe logging.

Sharing Files?

To help you securely share files with outside partners, fideAS® File Enterprise is supplemented by fideAS® File Enterprise safe, a free tool for encryption and decryption of files by a password. You can use fideAS® File Enterprise safe to decrypt email attachments which have been encrypted by the fideAS® File Enterprise system. It can also be used as a stand-alone tool. fideAS® File Enterprise safe uses AES-256, the strongest available state-of-the-art symmetric encryption algorithm.
